I got another motor the other day, its a roller motor. It had this upper intake that came with it. I am not interested in using it, I am going with a carburetor, but don't know enough about efi to know if this is a good one to use on a Bronco or not. If its worth anything I will be posting it in the classifieds.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have any pics showing the whole top and bottom?
I'd like to see the ports and throttle body.

When I searched the casting number and markings it seems to be an HO possibly from a late 80's or early 90's Mustang.

I have to say the same as Broncomt, only mine is from an '88 GT HO Mustang. So does that mean the same upper was used when fuel injection started in '86 all the way through '93 when the third generation ended? Also speed density changed to mass air in '89 - I think.

Mustang based EFI upper/lower intake. Yes, it has value. Yes, it would be ok to use for a EFI conversion down the road.

It's not worth much, especially with the lower intake missing. You can get complete Explorer Upper and lowers with injectors and rail for $150 around here. You may have luck finding someone doing a 5.8 efi swap, that needs the upper intake, but if you have no luck, sell the throttle body and scrap the rest.

I might have the lower intake as well. I have to go back to the guy I got it from. He still has some of the parts and I think the lower is there.
I am not looking to score a pile of cash, I just want to make it available to someone if it is useful. I know absolutely nothing about efi systems. I just hate to scrap something that has value to someone else.
Thanks for the info!

tried to sell several on craigs list and ebay a few years ago and ended up selling them for scrap aluminum.

Yes, the upper intakes were the same for 86-93.

I was going to give it away if someone could use it. Not what I want but maybe someone else needs one.
