Does anyone know how all the vendor's carpet kits handle getting wet? I'm thinking about installing one, but I'm sure since my top is off there will be some occasional rain hitting it.

The carpet dries out OK but the Jute padding that is glued to the back stays wet forever it seems. If you run with no top often you may want to consider a rubber floor mat instead.

Played that game before....ended up removing the carpet and putting raptor down. Got tired of the hint of mustiness! Not to hijack but does anyone know of a vendor for old style hook and loop like the original carpet.

Was just talking about that in another thread. Just waiting to choose my color, and still going with my preferred loop-pile style rather than the cut-pile. Even though carpeted Broncos (at least the later ones) came with cut pile.
Did some of the earlier Rangers have loop?

Have Raptor in the '68 now and putting Racket Jacket then ACC carpet down anyway. Love the Raptor look and feel, but just want things quieter, cooler and, well, more plush-ish in there.

I'm leaning towards the bed liner approach now. A few of you mentioned the raptor system, how does that compare to the Hercules roll on liner??

If Hercules is the one that Tractor Supply sells, I have that in mine. It can hold up fairly well if your not too rough with it, but I have peeled a couple spots up like latex while tossing stuff in there. I probably should have gone a heavier-duty route.

Had both like the raptor much better. Get it on eBay for $110 with an applicator gun
