Anyone tried to change the window vent lever on a 68 without taking the whole frame out? And is it possible? Thanks

When you use a punch to drive the pinout, be sure to back-up the other side of the lever with a hammer or dolly. Otherwise you will likely break the pivot stud off. Same goes for when installing the new lever pin.

What I am asking is that I need to replace the lever and the frame it comes in.can that whole piece come out without taking the window frame off. The stud is missing from the one that is in there now. Thanks for any replies
