I think you need the side gutters to make a seal??? I have the VF frame and its pretty cool. I installed it 3 years ago when I did my glass build. TAC71 is the maker of this fine piece of art. Its so cool I haven't painted mine yet either. TAC has also done some work with the vent window delete mods and there sharp!!!!!
Just be patient and wait for it. That will give you more time to save for it

Just the fact that Gary is watching this thread makes me a firm believer in his products and his workmanship put into the frame....which is a pretty complex set of bends and welds all the time paying attention not to scratch the beautiful SS! Then come back and make the presision welds disappear.......Like I said....workmanship pays off in this frame!
To top my build off I wanted to keep the dash pad and install a front cage hoop that would be out of sight and out of mind. I have recently installed my "plate steal" front lower legs and welded to it SS tubing that hugs my SS VF frame within 1/2". Its tight and because its also SS it just disappears. Im building my bronco as a rock crawler but want to keep it as 1968 as possible. To me keeping the dash pad is a must and although there are guys out there who remove the pad and weld a sheetmetal box to the dash to hide the motor....its not for me and where im going with my build. So I cut some of the foam out of the dash pad and also some of the inner metal structure. Eventually a custom upolstry shop will work there magic for me on the pad but for now its installed and hides the motor completely.
Along with garys frame comes the linkage for the arms as well as some bent SS covers to hide the linkages from sight! So to top everything off I have a front SS cage without the lower tubing getting in the way of glove boxes, brakes, and just getting in and out.
Have fun with the build and don't settle for any other frame than Garys wich by now you know is sold in the US through wild horses.
