I know there's lots of sites but still having trouble with my VIN plate decoding.
Is the power steering shown in any of the codes??
My plate says axle code A50. Is this the 4.11 limited slip? Do all the front Dana 44 come with the same gearing Sorry it's a 1973, C-4 in the U152 HD package.
It's plate reads. W.B 092, color Z, model U152, body C-4, trans G, Axle A50, max gvw 04900, DSO 71.
Thanks for any help

I'd suggest you get a "Marti Report"

That will tell you everything about your Bronco (as it started life anyway) and is very interesting!

Are you sure it's not an A5Q?

Big bearing 4.11 limited slip rear with limited slip front and power steering…

You know you're right, that is a Q.

James where are you finding the A5Q description? I don't see it on the Broncohio site, can you please share as you also correctly called out the PS, I assume it's in the Q designation.
Thanks Flyfisen

Broncohio has some good info but is pretty incomplete and has quite a few errors. Some of us have been documenting codes, gathering vin documentation and studying Marti Reports for decades now.
