VIN decoding assistance please

What's happening Bronco lovers?

Here is the VIN: U15GLE51285

Here are some numbers under it:

092 M U150 9098 C B8
16

From what I gathered from the VIN: '69 model with a 302. What do all the numbers underneath mean? I am hoping it will at least provide the gear ratio info.

Well I just found a link on another post that provides the info I needed.

C = White
B8 = 3.50 LS
16 = Philadelphia

What about the 092, M and 9098?

C = 3-speed manual

The M is your color -- White (I think).

The 092 is your wheelbase size, but not sure about the other number.

I think 092 is your wheel base, M is actually your color code C is your transmission code and I thought 909 was the body code and 8 is something to do with the axle, but you should be able to find all you need by searching for VIN decoder, VIN decoding, of VIN look up those kinds of searches.

Actually, you can call a ford dealership & they'll be able to tell you what the other numbers are for. I have a subscription to a parts magazine called LTD parts - just here in Kansas - and I just looked at it & it has the breakdown of what each segment stands for. I don't have it with me, but I can get it & get back to you. The last numbers, if I remember correctly, are where your truck was assembled - what plant it came out of. I just can't quite remember what the rest of it was.

how come there is no ORANGE color for any years? mines a 71and is is the stock paint
