Does anyone have a picture of the Sanden Compressor install using the BC Broncos bracket? I am working on mocking mine up on the engine and do not see why their bracket has to be so tall. (It interferes with my PS reservoir).

Also, I don't think it got the right bolts for it.

I had mine together with a non ham can sag and it worked OK. I then converted to a remote res with a bracket on the Sanden for the final setup. My pics do not show any details. The BCB instruction diagram is all I had for my install. Th e only deviation was I had to add washers to get perfect pulley alignment. I do not remember any bolt issue. Very pleased with that bracket.
Here are a couple of pics that Jason sent me. Note the use of Sag can Ham.

Let me know if you need more pics

Thanks for posting. Mine has the AC below the PS pump. A little different than yours.

The bracket Casey posted utilizes the stock casting. The Multisteer bracket I used and the one that is shown in Jason's pics completely replaces the stock casting and the result is the Sanden is mounted at the high point. The pump in that case is low and it clears the steering box nicely.
That multisteer bracket shown is very heavy duty and does not flex like the one that Casey is trying to use.

But can you use that BC multi steer bracket with the Explorer Serp system that Casey is using?

Casey,

I would love to see some photos once you get all of that bolted up.

Here are a few more pictures with the Sanden Compressor mounted (partially because the bolts sent do not fit it).

As you can see, there is no way to mount the PS reservoir with this bracket and I can not find any pictures of why the bracket must extend to the top of the stock ford bracket. I am tempted to pack it all back up and send it back. It would be easier to use a stock AC compressor...

This is the bracket they sent me. Not sure why your bracket is that large either. I'll post some pics of it installed. I have it tore apart right now redoing some things in the engine bay

Just cut the bracket off

Added a pic of it installed

I believe Caseys bracket is made to move the reservoir back toward the valve cover to clear the hood brace.

Two photos and I'm still confused....

Sorry to hijack...

I have the BC/VA a/c system and I want to convert to the Explorer Serp system. I was wanting to use my BC/VA a/c compressor but, it's looking like I might be better off converting to the Explorer a/c compressor.???

Sounds like Casey is feeling the same way.....

Tell them you want the bracket like mine. No issues.

The new bracket is to help move the stock PS reservoir away from the hood cross brace. They suggested I cut/modify the bracket to account for my custom reservoir. Should be easy enough.

I plan to cut it similar to the picture attached and keep moving forward with the mock up of the parts.
