Vintage Air A/C with Explorer ECM mounting

I see that the Vintage Air is the preferred A/C system. Just to be sure, the lines for the Vintage Air come out of the passenger side engine compartment, like my picture shows. I want to install my Explorer ECM in the area shown in the 2nd picture. Will the ECM work in that location? Thanks.

So Dirtdonk's 68 Bronco that he bought from me has the BCB AC unit with a bulkhead fitting. I made it work, but there is not a lot of free space.

Given what you have shown, I would say yes , as the AC/Heat connections are coming from the fender rather than the center of the firewall. You will be challenged for space under the dash non the less... Good luck. (The 68 pictures below) Ford Windstar van mounting bracket

Sure wish I still had that much room under the dash!
