Trying to tame a Bronco! But four legs, instead of four wheels.
Found this cool picture on Old West History on FB, from Gary Coffrin.
Taken in 1919 (!) by Ralph R. Doubleday in Cheyenne, WY.
Rider is Tex Crockett, (toes out, spurs in) on “South Dakota”.
Trying for new altitude record.
NO TIMER! Either you’re thrown, or he stops bucking.

That's a great picture. Thanks for posting

My 67 used to buck like that til I fixed the carburetor

This looks like a scene from the old cowboy song Zebra Dun

There is a lot of talk on here about "cut and uncut" Broncos. I thought this might be a picture of a Bronco that's just been cut!;D

I look at Tex Crockett and automatically wonder about how he lived and how long he lived.
He would have been born in the 1800's most likely, and obviously lived a bit of a hard life in some ways at least.

First thought after reading thread title was "man it's gonna hurt when it comes down".
