Vintage Dealer Stickers, Emblems & License Plates

Sorry no pictures just a story. I had a friend I new from 1st grade and when we were in our teens his dad had n still has a Bronco that came from Dobbs Ford in Memphis and so happened their last name is Dobbs .

Not related to the dealer but they liked the badge so well they mounted it on the glove box lid.

Dood pasted away 15 yrs ago,it was his third rollover and it got him.

They seriously used to drill holes in body panels to install a dealer emblem?

Living in CA is it foreign to me for a dealer to stick emblems to the paint. I see out of state vehicles with them on occasion. Sure, they put the license plate frames on here, but those are easily removed...

Ha! That's what I think too. I don't get the attraction.

The last two Yukon's I bought, I told the dealer if it shows up with any dealer emblems or decals I'm not buying it.
