I love it. They look awesome. You inspired me to go back to the stock look as well. Mine is cut but I think it will still look cool. I can always switch back :) I love new tires.

Thanks, Im really dig'n em so far. I still have the chrome center caps to put on which I think will set the wheels off even more.

I think it would look just fine. IMO its what you think is cool that matters, so go with what you want.

I just wish I had the dough for both a stocker and a wheeler. Maybe someday....powerball is 160mil. ;)

i saw a brand new set of buckshots at a buddys, they run them on a mudtruck. heard they were not making them anymore. they used to run them once a year and then when inventory was sold, you had to wait till next year.
i will call gateway next week and find out.

Back in about 1977 I replaced a set of 10 ply truck tires on a 1966 non-power steering truck with 11.00/15 Tru Tracks. It drove like it had power steering and they howled like a cat when you lit them up.
In 1971 I had a set of H 78/15's Armstrong Norseman on a 62 Scout. I don't know if it was the Scout or the tire ,but it was hard to get it stuck. I spent a lot of time pulling out friends and never had to get their help.

I have one original tire/wheel off a 1969. I will have to check and see what brand tire is on the rim. It looks like it was never used if I remember right? :p

Appreciate it Beaux, still got a ways to go obviously. But it sure feels good to be able to make some progress no matter how small.

Super traction IIs in 16.

Super traction LTs in 16.

Might be able to find them elsewhere cheaper than this, but they look to be available.
