volt meter

I got a volt meter for in my cluster and I'm running an explorer alternator, I forget what wires to hook to the volt meter. Anyone know?

I generally tap into the 12v supply to the Ivr and then make sure the cluster is well grounded so I can attach the (-) side to the cluster.

This shows a way to wire it, but a jumper from the hot side of the ICVR would work, too.
