VSS neg/pos identification???

Guys,

I just got my VSS kit from Tom's with a new plug, sensor and cable. I have to wire it up tonight but how do I tell what is VSS + and which is VSS - on the plug or sensor?

I guess I can run a continuity test on the poles in the sensor but want to make sure I am thinking correct.

Any input wuld be appreciated.

Thanks man..but i didnt have any plugs. I had Pin 3 and 6 marked and cut...

It will work with either polarity.

I was wondering if it would. Got it hooked up last night and all good. CM code 29 is history and seems to run better.
