Walker Heavy Duty Muffler to replace original?

What's anyone's experience with the Walker Heavy Duty Muffler to replace the original?

I have a 70 302 and it has the original muffler still from ford. I'd like to keep it stock. Is it loud? I don't want Loud. Just a nice quiet hum.

On my 76 bronco with a 1990 5.0 engine carb, dual mufflers round type like yours very quiet mufflers mine were off a 1956 f100 mandrel bent exhaust system L&L long tube headers

Used one on a 460 in an F250. I thought it was good. Low compression engine (8:1) and full length exhaust behind the passenger tire, that helps keep things quiet as well.
For a quiet good flowing muffler, you want volume (capacity not sound). The larger the physical size the quieter they get while keeping the flow potential. Longer pipes also help keep the sound levels down.

I installed this one with new piping and glad I did, sounds stock almost. Not loud or annoying. Stock 302 w ignition upgrade.

sorry then I don't think the 21400 is what you want. I do however like the look of that muffler. Have you called Walker to talk about this one? As how it compares to the 21400 that Broncobowsher and I are running,
