I've had the remote control jeep made by best choice products for about 2 years, and bought this one as an upgrade. I'll say the bronco body is definitely cooler, but the BCP jeep came with better drivetrain. The bronco is 6v, slower, and one rear motor, whereas the jeep is 12V and has one motor on each rear wheel. The bronco also has no suspension, I just cut the spindle tube down and put a compression spring (from Home Depot, cut the coils down to 11 total to allow compression) under the front spindle to give about a 1' flex per each front wheel so the one traction wheel on the back can still pull if there is a slight grade. With the stock setup, a driveway drain crossing can get it spinning. I haven't figured out just yet how to do springs on the rear, as it isn't a trailing/swing arm system like the jeep is. I do plan to convert to 12v and get another wheel/motor for the back, so it can have more capability. I ran a dual battery setup on the jeep to make it last longer, I will probably do the same to this one if I can convert to 12v easily. Currently waiting on a new decal pack so I can paint it to match my bronco as well!

We bought one this weekend also. After taking a look at the specs on my programmable fan controller boxes, they'll support up to 35 amps at 35 volts, so I may be tuning the little one with a laptop too. =)

I couldn’t wait until Christmas so we delivered it to Wisconsin this morning. I soon realized that I really bought it for me. They were bored in 20 minutes.

Hey Guys,

Well... two of the grandkids are now old enough for the toy Bronco. I unboxed it today and it's charging as we speak. Not sure when they'll be able to try it out.

Any of the ones that were running two or three years ago still running?

Hi Everyone,

I just installed a 12-volt Level 2 upgrade kit from ML Toys. Hoping for more torque (and speed). Lol

The grandkids used it for the first time last weekend... 6-volt wasn't very exciting for them.

Did the 18v update. Holy Schnikes! Had to take it back down to 12v for now.

Beware of the motors though. The boy burnt one out in 5 minutes on rough grass. Best to only run it on smooth surfaces.
