• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Friend of mine called last night and shared the news, he lost his 200 in his 66. Will need a block- LARGE failure . Will travel, and pay $$ Obviously, he needs a good builder, not a machine shop failure.
Thanks,
His name is Tim- contact him at

I would be looking on vintage Mustang sites, 200 6 cyl's were real common in those too.

I bought a non-running 66 Mustang 200 motor not long ago for $100. They're out there, just gotta search around. I have the block completely torn apart. I'll be rebuilding it and replacing my 170 with it.

I've got a block that should be buildable, also have a rebuilt 170 if he wants to just drop something in temporarily. I'm about 3 mi from I-77, ~3 hr north of Charlotte. Will try to give him a call here in a bit.

Thanks for the tips and other posts. Hope he can find something. The sound his 6banger made was pretty cool when running correctly :)
