• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hey Fellahs,

I'm looking for a Ford flex fan, 18", 7-blade, part# D0TA-C.

It is for a restoration project I'm working on, for a 1970 Cougar Eliminator. I was told on my regular forums that this flex fan was also installed in Bronco's and Ford trucks, so I thought I would try posting here.

Please feel free to reply here, or send me a PM or email through the forum.

Thanks!

The stock fan off of my '74 Bronco is a CF-D4TA, from a glance the fan looks the same

Mike, do you happen to know any other likely engine applications? I know it's going on a Cougar, so I assume Windsor blocks would be the most likely. Just wondering if FE motors and 6 cylinders might also be possible candidates.

We have a pick and pull 10 minutes from my work that I try to visit once a week or so. I'll keep my eyes peeled there.

They do look similar ~ there is a CF-D4TA on ebay right now, for comparison.

Frank, I believe the CF-D0TA-C fan was also used on various Ford trucks, and possibly vans as well.

Being a "D0" part, it would probably show up on vehicles from '70 through some time in the early '70s(?). From Z Bronco's info, I would guess they updated it by '74.

If you find yourself at the yard, keep an eye out for me :)

Thanks Fellahs, and have a great day!
