• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I ended up with the wrong stock Pitman arm after purchasing off of eBay. I have a Pitman arm (power steering version) for a 76-77 Bronco. I need one for a 73 Bronco. Am willing to even trade or buy. Thanks for your help.

Whats the difference between the two?
There are 2 differences. First is manual versus power steer arms. Then there's the difference in depth the drag link hole is reamed out. I think it's smaller on the '76-'77 arms.

The manual and power steering pitman arms are a different design, but are interchangeable. The 76/77 pitman arm has a smaller tapered hole and is not interchangeable to the earlier t-style steering linkage due to the different taper.

I knew there was a difference between manual and power, I was unaware of the difference between the early power and the 76-77 arms though! Thanks man!
I believe I have a 76/77 in the shop somewhere.

Ok, that might be why I never realized the difference as I run a 76/76 steering box but they are reamed for the 1-ton steering linkage.
