Wanted to upgrade to NV3550 but I think I have the J shifter

A 76 would have the J-shift tc. The shift pattern is a backwards/upside down J
When you get the adapter kit from WH they include their twin stick kit so no worries Mate.

I don't know the answer to that.
Just call JB Fab. They provided me with a twin stick that worked perfectly for just that application.
