Welded windshield frame?

Okay, I feel stupid. Went to part out my eb and sold the windshield frame. Problem is, I can't get it off.
&*$#@%*!! Is the hinge welded to the body or do I disassemble it somewhere else? It's a '71. Thanks!

You'll need to drill out the spot welds on the hinge to the body with a spot weld remover bit.

It's not bad. You can also use a 3/16 drill bit and just go through the hinge layer.

i was able to push out the pin of the piano hinge took a little time and lots of wd40
