A stock tank is normally galvanized inside and out so low temp. is the key here to keep from burning the zinc off and leaving a potential unprotected spot on the inside that can rust . For this reason a stock tank is best soldered at a radiator shop. If it's just a pinhole in an aftermarket tank , I'd try the JB weld route first but if that doesn't get it then purge the tank with CO2 and keep it flowing through while welding , some have used crushed dry ice and water and lived to tell about it.

Well she's fixed. Thanks for all the advice. I tried about everyones once, put the shop vac on blow, ect. Ended up taking it to a welding shop and they fixed the spot and pressure tested it. It holds gas now. Dosent quite look as pretty now(powdercoat) but oh well.
