WH 2.5" Front Springs

I ordered a set fro WH black friday and they arrived last night. I measured them against the ones that are in there now which are also a 2.5" set of another not so good brand and the dimension has me a bit concerned.

The WH coils measure at 19" in the box. The ones on the truck with some weigth (no engine installed) measure at 17".

Are the WH springs going to collapse no more than 2" under weight or did I get one size too small?

Can't help but I'm waiting to see what folks say. I'm interested in the 2.5" lift myself, what rear springs you using?

You won't really be able to tell until the full weight is on the spring because of different spring rates. If they are both 2.5" lift springs they should be close once you get the weight back on them.

I have a set of the WH 2.5" Springs that are about a year old. Compressed with the engine weight sitting on the ground the are roughly 15 1/2" Tall

I also purchased the WH 2.5" 11 pack springs for the rear.

Well now I am a touch concerned that WH springs will be shorter that the current ones. Since I am replacing both front and back, hopefully they will sit level when all is said and done.

It is probably due to the progressive rate on the WH springs. When I put the WH 2.5 kit on mine, it raised it up 2.75 in the front and 3 in the back. Of course it is a 1/2 cab with a fiberglass top so it doesn't have quite the weight on it as others.

I'm very happy with the way my WH 2.5" lift sits. I'd have to check but I think it raised the back around 3" and the front around 2.5", but it sits nice and level. That's with a full hard top, no spare and a 351W.
