What are these wires for?

Starting to look into wires that go nowhere. These were conveniently tied up on the firewall. Currently the ends are twisted together.

For the original brake warning lamp on the dash. Used to connect to the switch on the original H Block down on the frame.

Ok. Found explanation on Tom’s. I have the Moab system from WH so do I just leave the wires connected? What do most people do with hydra boost? Remove the wires and light. Use the dash hole fore something else?

Do you have the original H-block still on the frame? Many of them MOAB systems are designed to connect the new booster and master down to the original H-block.
Got a picture of your frame down where the brake hoses attach?

Is there still a connector on the end of those wires? Or is it just an ugly frayed and melted mess like it looks like in one of your pictures?

I think you’re not supposed to use it with the Moab systems I remember that in the instructions. Could be making that up but pretty sure.

Not sure why you need a light to tell you your brakes just lost pressure anyway. It’s like, oh, my foot just went to the floor, glad I can see that light!

It it does look like you might have a sensor at the end of your prop valve, which is where you would put one, but I didn’t and again, I think the instructions say not to.

The sensors in the aftermarket proportioning valves like that, are simply an on/off pressure switch. For activating brake lights in a hot rod when your standard pedal does not have a brake light switch.
I would still keep the dash mounted light and repurpose it to a parking brake-on light.

The reason for the original pressure differential switch is so that you don’t have to wait for the pedal to go to the floor. You may have a slight loss of pressure from a very small leak, and then you have the chance to catch it before it turns big.
That’s what happened in my case when my original rear hose started seeping.

To be clear, the pressure differential switches in the regular proportioning valves are still meant to activate the light on the dash. It’s just that the style in your installation is just a brake light switch.
