I've got a buddy that has a set of 4.11's that would be willing to get rid of them for a reasonable price if you need'em.

I run 351w EFI 4.56 F/R 35" B&F Goodrich All terrain radials NV3550 5Speed Transmission with stock Dana20 (The only thing stock on my truck). I can get up to 65 70 MPH in under 1/2 mile and keep it that way all day when traffic permits. I have a 23 gallon main tank with 12 Gallon Auxiliary tank. I also have 5.5" SL 2" BL Front and Rear shock hoops front disk brakes with Rancho 9000 shocks. I drive my Bronco every where grocery store, mall movie theater and to work. When its time to go 4-wheeling I fill it up with beer and it ready.

I'd say 33" tires and 3.50 gears if you aren't planning an overdrive, 4.11 if you're planning an overdrive.

I agree, on my 76 I have 33x9:50's and a c4, it does good around town, Hwy, and mild off-road. Now if I were to add OD auto or man I would go with 4:11's

Well what a pain in the AZZ found out my gear ratio is 4.77 and after spending two days trying to get them to mesh right and getting POd I gave up and took it to a shop yesterday to get a call saying he cant get them to mesh and he believes they are a mismatched set and pinion has a little to much wear and deep scratches so I'm looking at buying a new gear set thinking of the 4.56 and just keep out of 4x4 till i get to the front and do my tranny swap NV350 next spring. thoughts and opinions ???

IMO from my personal experience do the 4.56's. When I put in my NV3550 I was disapointed bad enough with the 4.11 and 33" tire combo to change both front and rear to 4.56. As one of the very sharp Gurus from Az says " Never fear the gear".

I agree with the 4.56s at the minimum. 4.88s are actually ideal if you plan on the NV3550 and 35" tires. Do it once and do it right.
