What Rims and Tires are you using?

I have a 74' that will mainly be on road but will also have some trips off road, noting too severe but I want some traction to the tires if needed, (muddy roads, fire roads etc.) I am wondering if any other Bronco owners use their rig in a similar fashion and what tire & rims they are using. Looking for size width info too.
Thanks

Im running 33x12.5r15 cooper discoverer stt's. Im mostly street but i did take it to my friends farm for some mud fun and they didnt dissapoint. Really though the tires seem to be an allterrain tread compound with mud grips. Dunno how well they would stick to rocks. But i like em. Im running a 2 1/2" lift and american racing 15x8 rims i think theyre the baja.

I have 31x10.50x15 Mickey Thompson MTZ's on 15x10 Mickey Thompson Classic II's. They are not to loud. seem to wear decently and all of the reviews that I have read say that they are decent tires on and off the road.

Find you some 15 x 7 slots, and run some BFG A/T and you'll be set...

unless your off road time is a little extreme at times.

33 x 12.50

BFG M/T
Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ

What kinda lift you currently have?

As far as I know it is still stock. Its up at my pops place so I will have to look it over. I have had it for close to 12 years unfortunately most of those not running. I am at a point where I can put some time & money in it so trying to get a feel for what works for the folks that have been working and playing with these rigs for some time.

I just bought some 16x8 steel black rims and put a 265/75/16 (32x11) toyo open county at's on them. They are quiet on the road and give me better gas mileage then the MT's I had on before. I am pretty much always on the road but that being said I took her up to Gore last month for the MEB round up and had no troubles on the blue trails.

Are your rear 1/4 panels cut with flares? That'll play a big part in what you can get away with.

I just bought some Kelley Safari TSRs for my F-150 a couple months ago. Cross between an AT & MT. Shockingly quiet on the road yet pretty aggressive tread. These are 31x 10.5x 15s on stock '95 F-150 wheels.

These ran me about $770 for all 4 mounted & balanced + lifetime rotation and balance and prorated replacement. Really happy with them.

33x12.5x15 MTs on Mickey T Classic II. Will probably go 35 when I replace these.

They're not too noisy on the road. At least, I don't think so. I might not hear them over the exhaust!;)

Hey Fungus, That's a nice FlareSide, you don't see many around any more. I bought mine new in 94 and now my son drives it. Always been a great truck.;D

OP
I run the Kellys on my F250 in a 315-75-17 and they are great tires, surprisingly quiet for an aggressive tire.

My favorite tire right now is the BFG KM2. I have them on my Bronco and my Raptor. They are awesome.

Yes they are cut and flared. I am not near the car at the moment so I am curious what size tire I am running right now, they were on the car when I bought it.

questions, is bronco cut or uncut? lifted or stock? changes options drasticly

Yeah I answered an earlier post. Wells are cut not sure on the lift yet but I am fairly certain it doesn't have one installed. Will get back to you.
Thanks
