Put that in my buddy's parts washer and it took the powder coating(?) right off of the tank!
Took awhile of sitting, but it did the job nicely. Guess I should have cut it down some in intensity, and run it maybe 2:1 or even 4:1.

Might have been a different Purple stuff I suppose. There are several nowadays. Would be good if I could remember exactly which one it was so I could avoid it in the future!

water based cleaners work well if you can heat the solution up.

It depends if you are environmentally friendly or not, I try to do my part and use this but it is stupid expensive and evaporates over time. It works OK and is safe but it cost me 600 dollars to half fill my tank.
