Searched but couldn't find a solid answer:

What other Ford vehicle has ebrake cables that match the Early Bronco ones but are longer??

Is it two of the same (longer) cable, or side-specific?

Thanks

Any vendor on this site has just what you need for e brake cables. I am a big fan of Wild Horses. Next

Install the original cables & all the linkage, then measure how much extra you need and contact the vendors. You can buy ready-made long cables brand new, or have some custom-made.

I think the R cable is slightly longer because the linkage is on the L.

Sorry I wasn't clear. It's not that I don't want to buy them from a vendor, I just waited until I need them to think about it. Don't have time to wait for shipping. I just PORed my axles and need a rolling chassis asap.

I'm pretty certain the full size 78/79 bronco will work. If you swap right to left on yours, you'll only need one.

X2....bought a set from Rock Auto Parts for an unbelievable price. They're, IIRC, about 15" longer. I needed the extra length to get around my Flowmasters and for the extra suspension travel. I paid less for a pair (with shipping) than I would have paid for one at my local parts house!;D If you get on www.napaonline.com they list the lengths-----------Hans
