What type of gear oil??

What type gear oil should I use with the factory limited slip rear end? Can I use the same oil in the front and transfer caseas well.

I know they have limited slip gear oil... I have some and use it for my lim slip... but as far as what is best ????

You can use 90w gear oil in the front and rear ends if you have the trac-lok rear you need 1 bottle of friction modifier you can get it at your local ford dealer its only about 2 oz. but they don't recomend anything else the transfer case requires 50w engine oil yes this is right engine oil in your transfer case if you have a 3 speed you also use gear oil in it. As long as your rear end is not chattering the gear oil your using must be working or your clutch disc in the limited slip are worn out and its not working you can tell by jacking up 1 rear tire and try turning the wheel it should take close to150ft lbs to get it to rotate you may not get that much unless new but it shouldn't turn to freely
