Hey guys, I have a 1968 Bronco that a guy is looking at.
It has been sitting for almost 16 years. The only serious rust is the inner fender near the firewall. The frame, floor pans, door posts, tailgate, rockers all are solid. The tranny tunnel needs some work, for some reason I cut it up and have no recollection why I did that.
The 289 engine needs a rebuild, it is missing the carb and alternator.
The Hurst floor shift 3 speed and D20 are in the back. The 9inch and D30 are installed and in good working condition. It has a solid full size top and a good rear bench seat.
Wiring would need major attention.
I'm not in any hurry to sell it as I've always wanted to build it myself, but my major hurdle there is I am not ready to tow it from MT to AK.

Now I KNOW someone will say $100, let me haul it off for you...Seriously though, what does a solid project like this go for?
Thanks for your opinions

I would say $500.00 - 1000.00

If you put it back together and made it move under it's own power you could ask more.

I'd agree... IF YOU FIND a guy who appreciates the rig as a classic.

other-wise I'd be more likley to agree with the $500-$1000. :p

If you need it gone ASAP, I'd say $500 will be a GOOD PRICE!

You see rigs in GREAT RUNNING shape sell for $500, and at the same time you see rigs that most the parts are held together by thicker rust flakes sell for $2,000.

I guess you can muddy the waters with all kinds of examples, but it all boils down to this... "WHAT IS IT WORTH TO YOU!"

...hope this helps

thanks guys, i appreciate the feedback. i'm have no need or desire to sell, although my parents might like it out of the yard one day! i just keep having dreams of trailering it up to AK and rebuilding it someday. and I know its real hard to find something with a solid tub and frame with a good top.
