So I'm thinking about selling my hard top off my 69 sport it has new seals but the glass is out right now because the glass is heavily tinted and I was going to remove it and retint with a lighter shade and take care of a small surface rust spot before reinstalling the glass. I don't have the window chrome anymore so its got the plain seals but does have the drip rail chrome. The whole top is in great shape no real dents to speak of and only the one rust area that is surface only. I know pictures would help with giving an idea in value and hope to take some soon other than the ones that are in my gallery.

Thanks for any help guy,
John

I agree for the 400-600 but would lean toward the 600 if truly not rusty. It would also depend on where the rust is.

I think it depends a lot on where you live. I'm close to Salt Lake City and I have bought multiple hard tops without any rust at all for $200 - $300 there. For me, a $600 hard top would have to be completely refurbished, including paint and new seals.

I suppose the more corrosive environment you live in the harder a decent top is to find. Salt Lake isn't exactly corrosion free but there are a lot of EB's in the city that are from other nearby areas of the desert west that are mostly rust free. Maybe there is just a local oversupply or something.
