Hi Guys,

I think I was able to post a pic below. I have a 3.5"SL & a 1" BL with 33x17 tires. a few thoughts...
1) not sure if polished is right vs black b/c most of my exterior trim is black (fenders, bumpers, etc)
2) w/ the amount of lift I have, do 33's look small?
3) are 17" rims ridiculous looking on this truck? I hate the "donut" look of bulgy tires but I also think 17's on a 33" tire look too skinny. I really like the "boxed-off" look when you look at the tires head on.

I'm leaning towards MT classic III's at 16" but not sure polished or black

I realize that most of this is style and preference but any opinions you all have would be greatly appreciated! Would also love to see pics of your W/T combos.
Thanks and have a happy 4th of July!!!

15x10's in the same wheel you have with some 35x12.50's or wider.

Your rig looks bad ass.

Thanks Bronconut!!! will that w/t combo give me the squaring look (flatish sidewalls)? not the donut look?

Maybe a bigger tire?
315/70R17 tires look more what you call 'boxed-off' on 17 inch MT Classic III wheels, and more in proportion with your lift.
35/12.50-17 would look good too (only a little bigger).

That's what I was thinking...a 35" tire on a 17" wheel has the same sidewall height as a 33" tire on a 15" wheel, which is pretty classic look for an EB IMO.

Also, chrome rims always look bigger than black. Kind of the bling effect catching the eye.

Agreed w/ the comment on chrome wheels looking slightly bigger. But do you guys thing that the current lift requires a 35" tire to fill the wheel well?

Here's a pic of the truck w/ 35" A/T's w/ 15" black beadlocks. I'm not sure about that combo. Plus I think it looks like two totally diff trucks w/ the top on/off. that being said, I mostly run it w/ the top off.

AK-47 - Your Bronco looks great. My least favorite tire is a 33/12.50 because of it's short, fat balloon look. A little taller and not as wide looks better to me. 33" plus look better with 17s too.

With your lift combo I would go with a 285/75/17 and your current wheels. My Green 77 in my garage has that tire with a little less lift.

That thing is sick Homie and I don't even really like black wheels....just looks right. I am always willing to suffer with an aggressive tread....but I think I'd leave it just like it is....
35's or bigger for your lift...but that's just me...
Some folks prefer the smaller tire look.
I don't dig the skinny tire look except on lubr's.

But you gotta do what makes you feel good.

But your rig with bead locked 35's and a BC Top on it is where I've been headed since BC came out with that top.

I said it before and I'll say it again,

"Your rig is sick sick sick....'

Thanks Rguest. The first pic I posted has 275/70/17's on it. I do think I want to go slightly wider...but hate that balloon look. When you say 33" plus are you referring to the 285/75/17 which works out to almost 34"?

LOL, thanks Bronconut! I haven't had it all summer so I'm just trying to tweak it a little bit just to get it on the road...it's been a tough winter w/ a garbage cracked engine block...Just dropped a BP 306 in and it sounds sick! can't wait to get it back on the road.

Both of the 77s in my garage have 17" wheels/tires and 3 1/2" total lift. Good examples for you to compare to.

The darker green one has the 285/75/17s or 34/11.50 The Medium Emerald has the 285/70/17s like yours.

Thanks Rguest. i just confirmed that my current rims are 17x9...would the 285/75/17 give me that boxy look on that narrow of a rim?

Here is mine with the same rims you have. 17" with 315/70r17 bfg AT. Though I do have a bigger lift. Wanted bigger tires but did not want to cut the rear fenders.

Mini, those 315's are almost 12.5" wide right? why would BFG offer standard and metric sizes? what are the advantages? that you can control the sidewall size? pros/cons?

Rguest, do you think that 315/70/17's are overkill? too wide? do you think that would produce that balloon look?
