i never said their sheet metal is crap. i have their cowl assembly, but had problems getting it. not going there now, and yes i do admit they have more metal than anybody else.

anyway, i did make a deal with someone on here that has the tins i need, so i'm good. dennis carpenter also carries them for a little more. and melissa called me back, good customer service there.

Not saying that either. I am merely responding to the guy who said he didnt care how customers were treated if the parts were good.

;D

I indeed care, ONLY that I'd rather have good parts from a bad attitude than get bad parts from a good attitude!

...or dose a kind word go THAT far for you Mr. Gribble?

Man dont you know JBG has these little "folowers" that do noithing more than delight in belittleing anybody that has anything bad to say about JBG. Scoff if you want but there are other vendors on other sites that do the same thing. It happens on gun sites, mustang, model A, etc. and its always the same people jumping up to defend the poor helpless vendor from the slanderous language of the evil, imposible to satisfy customer with unrealistic expectations.

Its funny you got slammed and didn't say anything other than you didn't want to give them your bussiness. :)

There is another current thread about Jeff's lousy customer service , that is why he didn't reply to the question or care to discuss it here.
He simply wanted to know where to get the stuff other than a place he has had trouble with ..... for which he got jumped by one of the "followers".... and he kept his cool the whole time.

I know who the better man is here now ....

I didn't "slam" him in defense of Jeff's. It was more of a slam of not taking the time to do a little searching and find the parts himself. It took me about a minute to find those parts somewhere else.

Yeah, suggesting that he takes a little time to do some searching (read: quit being lazy) makes me a "follower" of Jeff's. %)%)

and i'm not taking it too personally devin. i missed a few places. i was thinking bronco hut is too small an outfit to carry a specialty part like that, but was wrong. and i figured dennis carpenter would be more expensive, which they were, but they DO still offer the part.

i usually check the big guys like tom's, WH, BC, they didn't have it. that's why i asked here. i should have done more homework. it's usually the little guy that'll have the goo stuff, kinda like independent auto part stores.

You have confirmed my suspicion about you working for jeffs:eek:

?:?

yup... that 5 hr drive 1 way! just around the corner from me!!! Dosen't everybody drive 5 hrs to work everyday???

I would indeed work for 'em if it were an oppertunity, or Tom's, BC, Duffs or any of 'em!

Devin not just you but comments like this that you didn't make.

"None JBG related But some customers can not be pleased. I know I have a few."

Like its the customers fault. Devin you were just riding the hell out of him cause you though he was lazy. Well heck remeber this is basically an antique vehicle site not a computer site, and honestly the search capabilities on this site aren't that great when you are try to get a quick answer. But the end result of what you were doing is the same as if you were defending JBG, someone with a complaint or a problem will avoid posting because they don't want to be called lazy or stupid.

Do a search for JBG and take a look, then search the other vendors. There is a noticeable difference.
