Where to find longer windshield knobs?

I put a new dash in and it is definately not the same size as the old dash so to make it work I need longer windshield knobs to account for the extra width of this new dash. I think an extra 1/2" would suffice, but I don't know who makes them longer than stock.

Any advice besides rigging up my own fasteners?

they sell billit knobs on most of the vendors on here, and you can take off the stud bolt on the ends and put longer ones in your self. i found this out by accident when i took mine apart. just put lock tite on the ends when you but it back together, but that is how i would do it. hope that atleast gives yo an idea.

I just put longer studs in mine and it was easy. knock out the roll pin and cut the head off of a longer bolt drill a hole for the roll pin and put it back together.

x3 on do it yourself. I found two knobs with broken bolts in the glove box of my 66 when I got it. A quick trip to the hardware store and a few minutes with the drill and I was done. I got my new bolts in stainless to reduce the rust issue.

Parts bin at your local hardware store. You'll be surprised, you'll find some knobs in there.

That's if you want or need the bronco style knob. Otherwise just use a standard bolt and washer. Use stainless if you want to get fancy.
Good luck.....
