Where to find this latch, or spring plunger?

For building my swing out tire carrier, I would like to utilize this to latch things in place on the bumper, along with a backstop.

Yakima is closed until Monday, already tried calling them. It's found on their biggest bike rack hitch mount systems.

Anyone have an idea on where to get this?

I searched through this site, but I saw nothing similar

Try Grainger & search for pins, spring loaded pins, etc... I was looking for some hardened pins for a small driveshaft rebuild and those came up in my search a few days ago. They had a few different sizes.

I'm going to check these out when I get back to Austin next week, since we have a Grainger close to my office.

This ultimately seems like a one-stop-shop, so I ordered one. The Grainger parts would require a bung or some kind of of threaded piece welded. I may still use the Grainger stuff for the hold-open latching, but for purposes of latching to the bumper, I think welding this is the way I'll go.

Thanks guys!

I'll share pics of the bumper build.
