Can you awesome folks please recommend locations for transmission cooler mounting. I do not want to do I front of radiator. I may be adding AC in the near future.
I have the cooling fan/radiator combo

I mounted mine under the floor with a fan. I bolted two brackets to the floor to give about 1 1/2" air gap, then the cooler, then the fan. Worked great for several years. Only concern is if you go off road (I did not) is it could get hit with something. In deeper snow in very cold conditions I had snow / ice build up on the fan so it made more noise until it warmed up.

When I switched to the 4R70W I got a radiator with the core built in and it was so much nicer. Less crap around to break plus no fan noise.

I put mine on top of the passenger side fender and it kept it pretty cool this summer offroad, cool enough that it turned on and off throughout the day. I have the fan/radiator combo too.

Both of those are good suggestions. But what size unit are you using, or planning to use?
Reason I ask is that you can fit a reasonable sized cooler there on the core support in addition to the A/C condenser.
You're right that there's not much room, but it can be done.

Doug did this one where the condenser is sandwiched between the radiator and back of the support, and the aux cooler is mounted to the front of the support over by the battery venting holes.

Get an oversized double row or an oversized stacked plate variety with a fan.

I mounted mine on the passenger fender elevated just an inch or so above the inner fender.

20 years like that.
Tranny fluid always bright red.

Got the idea from BC Broncos.

Mine is mounted the same way including the A/C condenser and it seems to work just fine.

Mine’s mounted forward of the drivers side fender, behind the headlight. All my EFI stuff is on the passenger side.

Mine is remote mounted with fan under the driver seat where the Aux tank use to be.
Meh, I should of left it up front with the radiator (My radiator also does not have a cooler built into it).
There is no replacement for the free air exchange cooling you get with it in front of the radiator, everything else is a compromise.

I run a Stacked plate cooler with a 10" fan at the rear of the passenger inner fender. It pulls cool air in through the vent in the hood and blows it down and out between the inner fender and firewall. Works great.
