So after an excellent re-snark from Eric, I spent a couple of hours of Google Fu. Was hoping someone with knowledge already knew the answer.

The only thing I could find was this:

Known combos so far...
1. Lightning/Cobra R LWR & Comp Cams UPR.............~11.00"
2. TFS-R.........................................................................11.50"
3. Edelbrock Victor EFI.................................................. 12.00"
4. Lightning/Cobra R LWR & 302 GT40 UPR...................10.50"


The other thread here showed the Lightning at 10.6" and the 351truck lower>BC adapter>5.0 upper at 10". So it looks like the BC adapter set up is still the lowest, but doesn't necessarily flow the best.

A gt40 isnt cheap for a 351, you can find all kinds of good deals at the corral parts classifieds.

Would the MSD be a good choice with a full roller 351W and a carb?

MSD=JUNK IMO from personal experience. I'd go with another manufacturer.
