Has anyone installed Aero Tanks 11 gallon Auxiliary steel gas tank part # 1040?
http://www.aerotanks.com/inventory/1040.html

How does it compare to the 12 gallon steel tanks sold by the Bronco vendors for over 200 dollars MORE?

I did this one on my 77. Believe me I am an Aero rear tank booster...

I would not do it again as I had to drill through my recently finished and rhino lined floor to mount the tank with the two long carriage go-through-the -tank bolts.

The tank is made with Aero's high quality, no leaks, no issues what so ever.

But... The nuts on the bottom of the tank could be caught on rocks and I did some shimming with plastic sheets between the tank and tub just to make sure there was no metal to metal chaffing.

my 2 cents - Doug
