I would have to say that Bronco6g.com is a Ford project. The Domain owner is Private, And they used a company to ensure the owner remains private.

Bingo! Again, very suspicious! So Ford has been working on this since at least before March 3, 2015??? ;D

Edit: Ford filed for the Bronco trademark on February 26, 2015. Then bought the domain name 5 days later!

While it is thoughtful of Ford to consider the need for a Bronco nameplate, this design is actually somewhat depressing as it shows that the vision is just not understood. This concept is not a Wrangler-JK fighter, but is instead it is just another anonymous SUV clothed as a big Bronco redux with a mash-up of visual design elements from the early classic Bronco.

As many of us in the classic Bronco forums have stated, every JK we see- and there is one to see every few minutes when out and about- looks initially like a built up early Bronco, until we realize it is just the Jeep rip-off of Ford's early hard work. While this design might please the big Bronco crowd, it will not satisfy the craving of the masses for a vehicle that not only stands out, but projects the image of trail-worthy, beefy off-road machine. This is what the JK is delivering. It is what the original early Bronco delivers and has delivered for decades. Unless that conceptual next step is taken, the product will be only a success with a limited crowd, not a stand-out pleaser of the masses. By going with something with a trail-ready, modular and transformable design like the early Bronco, there would be a very good chance that this would be Ford's next big thing. This is not it.

Personally I like it. The odds of Ford delivering a retromod bronco that looks exactly like an EB is slim to none. I like all versions of the bronco and I think as long as it has a removable top and at least an option for 2 or 4 doors like the JK it will be a hit. Oh and please use 1 ton axles to begin with. Lol

The admin for the site started working on it Jan 27th 2015 according to his profile, or at least that is the day he registered to the forum....

I'm guessing he or she is also an Admin on Mustang6G.com which was created earlier than Bronco6G.com.

They are working on a new concept rendering with a removable top. The people running the Facebook page have been asking for input and suggestions on what it needs. I think if it is someone like Ford trying to gauge interest now's the time to tell them there what you think. I like the front-end and think it needs a removable top and solid front axle with true 4 wheel drive but until I see something on the showroom floor I'm not holding my breath.

The only thing in this I see as suspicious is the Expiration Date: 03-mar-2016.
That would be Thursday. Have to stay tuned to see if it's renewed. I would think anything associated with ford would have renewed by now.

This is what I see when I look at the concept... a late 80's Blazer/Jimmy.
I am always glad to see any mention of a return of the Bronco, but they'd better get it right...

Removable top, Jeep Wrangler killer...
With Jeep's quality, it should be sooooo easy to build a winner.

By default GoDaddy renews on the last day, it's dumb because if there is an issue it messes up the domain. You can renew manually ahead of time...

I am not an expert by any means but what are 5Gs? I can count only 4 generations of Ford Bronco: EB, Big Bronco, Bronco II and OJ Bronco. Did I miss any other?

1st: EBs
2nd: 1978-79
3rd: 1980-86
4th: 1987-91
5th: 1992-96

Generations are generally categorized with model redesigns, though there may be some mid-generation refreshing of models from time to time (very common to see mild face lifts mid-generation cycle these days)

tymotor got it right. I was curious about that too. My conclusion is that Ford does not consider the Bronco II a "generation" of true Bronco either! LOL

Funny that they are on Gen 6 of the Mustang too. (MustangG6.com) That makes 66 to 73 all one generation. I would divide that into 3 or 4 but not sure what is generally accepted in the Mustang world. It seems that the Broncos from 80 to 96 are more similar than the Mustangs from 66 to 73. I guess it's all semantics!

I'm thinking the Bronco II and the Bronco were produced at the same time, therefore the one wasn't a version of the other. That would be like the Ranger being considered a mini version of the F150 which is the smaller version of the F250..........and so on.

So, the plans to launch a new Mustang in 2020 are leaked to the . . . take a guess . . . Mustang6G "enthusiast" forum! %)

See this link: next Ford Mustang is coming in 2020

I think now it's pretty obvious who's behind both Bronco6G.com and Mustang6G.com.

I've been biting my tounge for about 3 weeks hoping somebody else would see the S-10 blazer too!!!! Was starting to think it was just me. Re resemblance is absolutely undeniable. That back window really seals the deal. It's a big fat "no thanks" for me. Lol.
