My shift collar split and I made the poor decision to replace the shifter bushings while I was working on it.
I took the shift tube out and then of course, couldn't get everything to mesh when I put it back in.
So, I pulled the column and found that the lower collar for the spring was broken.
I took it off and figured maybe it'd work without it. Well, it doesn't. When you pull back to go to 1st or reverse the 2-3 arm wants to move with it.
What did I mess up? Aside from that collar being broken?
