Whoops... Broken Carb Mounting Ear

I have been messing with a high idle on my 2-year-old Summit carb. Reinstalled today and broke off one of the mounting ears. I usually just snug hand tight with a 3/8" drive socket wrench in a crisscross pattern; I guess I should break out my inch-pounds torque wrench on the new carb...

I'm considering the Edelbrock 1915, if only to try something new. I'm not ready to commit to redoing the whole fuel system for EFI.

I thought about JB weld but read mixed opinions about it in this application. Was having some trouble with the carb anyway so may just throw more money at the problem…

I have an edelbrock carb...needs a rebuild but you can have it if it will help out in anyway
