First let me say that I know it's against the rules to Vendor Bash! But I can complain right?

I have had issues with this Vendor before and I'm starting to take it person! I ordered some spindle sockets back in December, so last week I sent an e-mail to check on the status of my order!

I received an e-mail back from them stating that it was shipped out USPS on the 5th of this month? S I replied that maybe they lost it because I have never heard of a 9 day shipping service:eek:   So I get an email today stating we can fax you proof of the shipment!

Don't you guy's think that there might be a problem with this attitude? This vendor think that once it leaves their building it's not their problem anymore. That is not good customer service in my opinion.

Every once in awhile shyt happens its been a busy busy time for everyone with the holidays and shipping things and it can become over whelming and stuff does get screwed up cause there human. If you needed it that badly you could have got that part locally in sure. I dont know why people think all these vendors should bow down and kiss there asses like the vendors have nothing else to do but take care of them. They have lives too and like i said the holidays are a busy time for everyone. If the service is that bad dont cry about just order parts from another vendor.

USPS does not offer tracking so the vendor was unable to locate it for you like you could with a tracking number . the only thing the vender was trying to do was show you that it had indeed been shipped and the date it was shipped. not much more they can do except wait just like you for some news. If it's pronounced lost they will put in a claim and refund or reship. it does suck but were you expecting them to ship again? refund? Demand the post office find it? Thats funny. Good luck.

The man just wants what he paid for. He's not asking for special treatment here.

I know that but he said he has had problems with this vendor multiple times . If i had problems with the same vendor more than a couple times I would source out another vendor. Everyone wants what they pay for. You should also put yourself in there shoes and know what all they have to deal with.

If the item was shipped parcel post it's hard to tell when it will be received. A item shipped Alabama to Virginia took three weeks! Another item shipped from California to Virginia took three days! Parcel post means they put it on the plane if they have room. I no longer ship parcel post, Priority Mail, with delivery confirmation so at least you can see a record that it was actually shipped and actually received.

hmmm, everything i order comes ups, from our 'main' vendors.....3-5 days is great, week + is norm, for ground that is....btw ever order from ebay, forget it i am still waiting on parts 2 weeks after paypal....Markperry u are completly in the right to be frustrated. I used to own a business before i sold out and moved back to a desk-customer service is paramount- and there is always a better way to handle it-a let me check it out or I'am sorry is the right thing to do.....$$$ is precious and spend it wisely, if this isnt the 1st time then do NOT buy from them anymore.

I've worked for FedEx for 23 years....I agree, I know what you are saying and thanks for clarifying your stance on this issue!

Wow :-[ , really sad. What vendors need to remember is they are only as valuable as the last Customer they had. If it was not the Customer there would be no reason for a vendor. Times are tough all over and vendors need to work even harder to keep the Customers they have. Word of mouth is a very strong tool for repeat and new Customers. Having the attitude like the quote above suggests will only lead to their doors closing forever. I bet the vendor would have had another reaction if he was waiting for payment after the item arrived to the Customer. My advise- call the vendor and let them know what your expectations are before you purchase their item also pay a little extra for that darn tracking number.

True but im just saying that one screw up is acceptable. But more than once and I wouldnt order from them anymore. Its that simple find another vendor or try to source your parts out elsewhere.

Well complaning about a vendors service without naming them is just short of bashing them all. FYI......If you need something badly pay a lil extra for shipping through a parcel company and you wouldnt have to mess with the usps.

I would have spent more for shipping! They did not give me an option....It was on backorder, so I sent an email to check on the status a week ago and I got an email stating they sent it USPS on the 5th?
