Any of you guys have the wild horses tub?
I've really been thinking of just putting a new tub on my Bronco.
Too much hacked up pieces on the current body.

I would say Shannon’s or bronco exchange would be the ones making the bodies for them, I could be wrong, but both of those builders seem pretty decent.

We also do a lot of other things to the bodies, that we won't show in the video, to save you time and money.

Thanks for the video, PCB.

For those of you that don't have a lot of room to work with, how difficult was it to switch bodies?
Like a lot of you I have the typical 2 car garage. To be honest, a "2 car garage" is not really a 2 car garage...unless you drive a smart car.

Here's an example of the room I have to work with. I can park my 2500 Ram on the side of my house, but it's a tight fit. It would take 3 more feet width wise to be considered RV parking. The eves take up about 2' of over hang.

Since this is something I'm really considering, I'll take any advice from those who have replaced a body.

Thanks.

I've done it in a 20'x24' 2-car garage.

How did you lift the body off. Can it be done with an engine hoist through one of the door openings?

I’ve got a standard 2 car garage like @Jakedog and have the same question about ways to get off? Sure wish I had one of those special friends a 2 post to make quick work of it.

I borrowed 4 little chain falls from work, lifted the tub and rolled the chassis out from underneath the body. It was pretty much scrap, so I wasn't worried about it.
When it came time for the new tub, I had a couple buddies come over and we lifted it by hand and put it on the chassis.

I wondered if 4 guys could just lift it off.

Did you remove doors, front fenders, etc, or everything stayed and you just muscled it on?

I did mine with an engine hoist. You don’t have to pick up the entire body, 2 tall jack stands, I use Ridgid Pipe Jacks and a 4x4 or piece of metal stock. Pick up one end set it on the stands, pick up the other and roll the chassis out, done many bodies this way. I’ve also picked up bronco bodies in one lift to move around the shop, but mine did not have front clips. Be sure to brace the doors

I know Dennis Carpenter builds about 95% of their bodies in house using original tooling.
So you get an American made Bronco body. Are there any other vendors building bodies in the USA?

I understand that I am going to have some foreign parts on my bronco, but I want it as American made as I can get it.
I refuse to use a Chinese body. Just not going to happen.

Just because it's made in America, doesn't mean it's any better. I will put our bodies up against a DC body any day of the week. This is the reason why I made a YouTube video explaining the difference. When it comes to building one for a Coyote swap, they don't even come close to how we do it.

I was just wondering if there was another company manufacturing Bronco bodies here in the USA.
I had no idea about where your Bronco bodies are built.

I prefer to buy American made if it's available.
