So I got a wild horses frame mounted high pressure fuel delivery kit, which includes 3/8 line and 5/16 barbed fittings for the pump and both fuel filters.

Somehow this disturbs my sense of correctness. Should I just crimp the stainless braided 3/8 line down on the 5/16 fittings or should I fabricate adapters?

Also what's the point of having an entire 3/8 fuel delivery system if there's a 5/16 constriction within a foot or two of the tank?

Thanks,
JB

I would source an adapter for the pump with a 3/8 barb. I wouldnt have a 3/8 hose and 5/16 barb on a high pressure pump

I got 3/8 to 5/16 barbed adapters and a 4-ft length of 5/16 stainless braid hose to go from the pre-filter to the pump to the post post filter.

Normally I find wild horses to be very detail oriented in their parts, but this 3/8 hose with 5/16 pump and filters is definitely a contradiction. Also all of the hose clamps supplied we're too small for the 3/8 stainless steel braid hose.
