Will this Autolite 2100 work with a '70 stock 302?

Had to replace my Autolite because of corrosion, so I ended up buying this one for pretty cheap. I guess I should have asked you guys this before, but will this one work on my '70 302?

Reason I'm asking is because I notice a difference in this one and mine.. This one has a 90 degree fitting coming out of the top cover where the float resides and my current one does not. What is that fitting for?

It will run but it may have to be tweaked. The venturis on a 1.21 are bigger & I believe the jets are to. Theres a good chance that carb came off a 400.

I put that on my stock 302 in my 76 & no matter how much I played with it I could never get it to run like the stock 1.08

My 1.21 didn't come with that angled tubing off the hat above the fuel bowl so I don't want to guess what it does w/o better pics. Someone else will know.

The carb in that ebay ad is a Motorcraft 2150, not an Autolite 2100. Just to clarify...

Yes, don't get me wrong, the two are similar and may share some parts but that is a 2150.

I wonder if I could just swap my 2100's venturis and jets into it?? All I really need is the main body assembly because my old one is corroded.

I can't answer that but maybe someone on here can. There are often stock carbs in the classified section on here for cheap. I picked one up for $20 recently.

The 2150 uses a different power-metering design...The boost venturi assy is different than the 2100.

I would simply bolt it on and try it.

That 2150 is most likely a larger cfm than your stock 2100. Just swapping guts most likely won't help infact for me it just caused more problems. the venturi bore on the 2150 should have a larger diameter than your stock 2100
