Winch to remove hard top? Has it been done?

Just curious, has anyone used their front winch to remove their hard top?

I use my engine hoist to remove and install.

Lift it with the hoist and then drive out from under it. Unbolt it and place some 2x4's under it to get my straps under it. Works quite well when you don't have help.

I use a come a long, and a tow strap

$25 chain hoist and two straps. I lay a blanket on the top so I don'd take a chance on the chain making any marks.
