Does anyone have a better solution for the windshield wiper cover? I will be running most of the time with the roof and doors off. I don't like the cheap plastic look of this and the fact that the front is completely open to catch the wind. I'm sure it would be fine with the roof on.

Agree, that does not look great. I would not run like that. If it is true you will have top and doors off most of the time, then likely you won't not need wipers. I guess if you're running down the road in the rain maybe. That would also not be a good look.:). So one option is to just remove the darn wiper system and put plastic plugs in the holes so it looks finished. Then when the top and doors go on, put the wipers back on. I also know they have a wiper motor lowering kit that brings the motor down below the top of the windshield frame, but not sure if there is then a smaller cover for it. Just something to look into.

Pics of relocation bracket with the bikini top riser ( early 2000’s era hardware ) the riser actually makes the windshield frame look trimmed out compared to nothing and hides the wiper motor looking from the outside .. not a fan of any of the interior trim covers so I run without ,,

The cleanest solution in my opinion is the Newport wiper system that many of us on CB have done.

I think it looks fine with the lowering bracket and bikini top on.
Running the plastic cover with the top off is not a good idea. Between the wind pushing against it, and the sun destroying the plastic, it won't last long.
