I'm installing a new windshield and seal. Can the windshield "chrome" moulding be inserted into the seal after the windshield is installed into the frame? Heard a comment that some mouldings on other cars have to go into the seal before inserted into the frame.

Moulding needs to go in the seal before the glass and seal are installed. I have heard of someone doing it later, but it was a real pain and didn't seat all the way in. My glass guy put it all together on a table and then stuck it all in like one piece.

Was glad to see this post, I will be reinstalling all my windows soon. Would have been a real pain finding this out later.
