Wow! Ansen slots were shiny when new

I found these on craigslist. They are from the 70s, never been used. They are 14",wont work for us. I didn't think old slots were this shiny when new.

Nice find, hard to belive there are still nos wheels like that out there.

Terry, I remember you could get them either polished or machine finished back in the day. Nice find for a Mustang, but probably hard to get tires in 14's these days??

Nah, they're available. Probably not at Costco, but most larger tire shops can get BFGs, Michelins and private label brand tires in 14s.

My wife's 280Z has slot mags with them. Eventually, we may have to get them from Coker Tire, but I'm not worried.

I didn't buy those slots. Those are pics from the ad. There was another pic of the vintage tires that were never mounted. I was surprised to see how shiny they are.
