I liked Andrew's comment about "maybe you will have to buy a bronco to get one".

It might have been four years ago.....after searching for well more than 10 years I finally found a pair of original Hondaline hard saddlebags for my 1986 Honda CB700SC.

I showed my wife the auction and she knows I've been looking since we had dated and says "how high will you go" and I said " is it stupid if I pay more than the motorcycle itself is worth"?!

The Todd/Andrew equivalent in the vintage honda scene have only seen 3 or 4 of these sets so I feel like those bags are my "Stroppe Steering wheel".

The company that did them is apparently long out of business. He used those wheels for many, many years on a lot of different rigs. He used them on his stock cars in the early/mid 60s, the Broncos and pickups, Couriers and Rod Hall's Dodges even used them!

Contact Quality Restoration and see if they can convert a stock wheel into a Stroppe for you (unless you are looking for original). I'm thinking about using them to cut down the diameter & convert to a modern column.
