I have a SB ford ZF 4x2 trans for sale. I also have the output shaft for a 4x4 zf with the gears still on the shaft and the ext. housing. Shifter included. All for $150 Just want what I paid for it all.

I would like to point out that there may possibly be two different ext. housings. What the differences are, I have no clue. Will this cause a problem with the parts I have, I don't know. I have a second ext. housing but it has a small crack in it. Whom ever buys the set up is more than welcome to the second ext. housing.

I have the 351W flywheel from the ZF I can sell or trade for a flywheel to work on my late model 302.

Everything has been sold.

Sure. Do you have a way to ship it? I mean a shipper you may use? I will have to check around to see how I can ship it from my area.

I will be cleaning the garage today and building some shelves so will pull the trans out and get a weight on it, if I can hold it long enough on the scale. I know the 4x4 output shaft with all the gears on it weighs a fair amount, say 50 to 75lbs by itself. I can build a pallet out of 2x6's if that's okay. Can it be an open pallet or does it have to be boxed in? I know when I use to use ForwardAir back in Ohio they required it to be boxed in, no open pallets.

I will try to post pics of it all later today and I believe it is in the internal slave cylnder. I think the 460's came with an ex and an internal but I'm not sure if the SB ZF ever came with an external cylnder.

Here's a few photo's of the tranny and the output shaft. I need to dig out the tail housing. The 4x4 ext. and output shaft are from the same tranny.

I only ask because I may be able to bring it with me on our way to Louisville KY if we have room in the bike trailer.

I'm sure a few other team members are going to want their bikes hauled but they will have to chip in for gas to make it worth while to tow the trailer that far. Otherwise it's cheaper and faster for me to load the bikes on the bike rack. We can play it out by ear as time passes.

One of the housings came with the 4x4 output shaft and the second one I picked up with some other parts I bought. They both go with the trans.

Would you be interested in selling the output shaft and matching housing only? I already have a 2wd zf I want to convert.
